Sometimes it helps to take them out while I change stuff around. Maybe he'll get over it if you take him out for a few minutes.

He's getting some nice color.

ya as soon as i stuck the tube through he freaked out lol i took him out and took the pics i posted and then when i put him back it he tried to climb up the tube but i took him off and he climbed on his vine looked at it and puffed up again -_-

It looks like he is trying to figure out how to drink from it. I think the best thing to do is have it right over a leafy area so the water runs off the leaves. One thing you don't want is to place it too high up so the water splashes off the leaves. Also, he needs a perch close to the wet leaves.

i actually had to run out it was drippping onto some leaves but it was spashing everywhere so i misted him alot before i went out. im gunna fix it tonight when i get back

actually not bad advice, i dont think he is miffed, i just think he is a little perplexed. occassionally some chams may have a problem figuring out that they have to go to their food or water if it wont come to them. it seems like the end of the branch where he is at, might be a more appropriate spot, but not so that it drips on him, or the branch. mine will often try to run up the tube, or drink from the side of the tube when they are thirsty and i have just refilled the dripper. sometimes it will help to slow the drip rate to about once every 8-10 secs. i think if you slow the drip rate , get it set up in a spot that might be more to his liking, and just leave it alone for a while that he will probably figure it out, and even come to like it. i try to set my drippers up in a place reasonably close to their basking spot (makes them harder to ignore, and kind of forces them to get used to it) and also so that the water goes into the pot of whatever plant is in there. some chams can be wary of anything new, and often take a couple of days to adjust to anything different. jmo
