What Should I Do

So I am dealing with my mother over crickets she has a huge fear of bugs And found like 3 in the bathroom she forced me to put them outside in a tote only problem outside is around anywhere from 40-60 degrees and I think they will die fast what can I do to make sure they don’t or will they??

I hate to tell you, but roaches are much easier to contain than crickets. Explain to your mom that dubia and discoid don’t climb or fly and are much different than the dreaded german roach that we all hate. See if she’ll go for a trial of them. They are much quieter and cleaner too. Maybe even offer to get some roach traps if that would ease her fear of them. Silkworms are also really good as they stay where the food is. Bsfl are easily contained until they pupate into flies.
Until I got my first cham, I hated all bugs and thought crickets were the lesser of the evils. They are most definitely not! I would much rather have a bin of roaches than a bin of crickets.
