what is wrong?

this is a cham that is for sale near me. I'm pretty sure that spine is not good and would like to know if this curve indicates something is wrong or if it is fine?

It would be really hard from a picture to tell if something was wrong with his spine. Chameleons are great contortionists!

pictures can be misleading, but it doesn't look normal.

More accurately have you seen this cham moving around the cage? Lack of movement or failure to use legs or tail may so give you more clues.

One more thing to assess would be the rear leg grip strength.

There also seems to be some swelling just in front of the front Leg.

?Edema or infections....dunno.

thanks! the owner will not provide more pics and got really offended when I asked for some and told him why. So needless to say, I won't be buying this guy.

Swelling? That looks like his cheek. I would hesitate though if the owner would not send more pics. He actually looks just like a big old male chameleon with a tall casque lounging!
