What is the IDEAL enclosure for an adult veiled?

I want to make sure my male veiled cham will have an ideal enclosure when he gets a little bigger and needs one. I made an enclosure recently, but it was too small and I decided to scrap it and start over.

Here is my general idea for the design. (SeeAttached)

Sorry for my crappy MS Paint skills, but you get the idea of what I am trying to build.

I am not sure what to do about the front door, should I use hinges and let it open or try to make plexiglass sliders for better viewing or what?

What types of plants should I use? I want to use 1 big plant if possible, then add vines and branches, what do you guys use? What if I build shelfs with like 2-3 different plants?

What is the best type of screen to use? I want something that looks good and is easy to see through.

Any other suggestions? Is this big enough for a male veiled when he is like 5-6 months old?

Hinges with aluminum screen is what I use. Aluminus screen is the best/safest material to use.

My adult cages usually have 3 plants: Shefflera Arboicola, Hibiscus, and Photos. I usually have 2-4 large vines in each cage aswell. Some of my cages also have braches. To hang my Photos I just use a hook screwed into the wood, and if you can find a Photo with a plant hanger it works great. I use shelfs to hold my feeder bowls about midway in the cage.

What is the size of the enclosure?

I added the attachment.

It's going to be 5ft tall, but the cage part is going to be 4ftx2ftx2ft and 1ft off the grounf so I can put a funnel for drainage. I plan to enclose the bottom with the bucket so i can store stuff down tehre.

That sounds awesome!
I have several cages like that being made, but they are a total of 6 feet tall.
I should have the first one done next week.
So, I will post pictures.

Awesome! I will just "copy" your design a little if you don't mind. I am not the best carpenter, I have built alot of stuff before, so this shouldnt be too hard.

I am not sure what type or size of wood to use, I was thinking just 1.5x1.5" beams would work perfect, but I am not sure if those are strong enough?

If you have the tools, just get 2x4's and rip them yourself. Often 2x2s are the same price or more expensive than 2x4's, so you'd be getting 2 for the price of one! I'm also in the middle of building an enclosure, and lucky for me, my dad had a lot of scrap 2x4's that we used, so no cost for wood!

I bet I can find old 2x4's for cheap somewhere on craigslist or something too if I look. Thanks for the idea.

You want to go to Home Depot or Lowes to find good wood that dosent have a large crown.
You dont want a large bow in your wood.
This makes construction difficult when trying to make it cricket proof and your door to work properly.

I was thinking where I put the lines about 6" Up from the bottom, I would make that just all wood, so no crix can get out from the bottom
