Other than crickets and fruit flies, what else can i feed my baby veiled? he is 3 maybe 4 inches, about a month old...i want to give him more to choose from cause it looks like he doesnt like crickets all that much. he is very...reluctant (for lack of a better word)...with eating them

Dubia roaches if small enough, general rule is don't feed it if it's bigger than the size between the eyes. Also I've heard of another bug... holdon.

I just received today ReptiWorms... and my guy LOVES EM!!! Never seen him move so fast towards my hand to feed him. I only gave him 4 today, but tomorrow im gonna give him moar... They are small size, even the "Large" they sell. Give em a try, you wont regret it.

its the same general rule for all reptiles, any species of bug i should stay away from? or any type i can buy, if small enough.

Not any you can buy, some like mealworms are bad staple foods. Their hard shells can constipate your lizard and they're not that nutricious at all.

Don't get me wrong, this are treats, he gets his 8 to 12 crixs a day... ReptiWorms I think can be used also a staple food... But also I do need to verify with another members...

Also Blevine... are you cup feeding or free roaming? I think when chams still young and small in a large cage, they can't see the crix and therefore hunt their food.

im cup feeding right now, but i put 6 or 7 crix in the cup this morning and there is only about 4 left in there and i know for a fact one got out of the cup cause i saw him hopping around the leaves  :p
