not in a mesh cage, it would be impossible to keep them alive unless the room they were in was at a constant 100% humidity level.

What kind of mesh cage?
I have bred all kinds of lizards over the years in reptariums if that is what you are talking about.
Some of the medium sized lizards that like to scratch around can be a little hard on them sometimes- I use them for bearded dragons for example, but they put holes in them after a year or two, so I constantly have to patch those enclosures (fishing line and aluminum screen). But many other species do not damage them.
Off the top of my head, how about-
day geckos, collard lizards, mountain dragons, crested geckos, gargoyle geckos.
Really your choices are almost unlimited. I use the reptariums so much because I haul things indoors and outdoors in the winter and summer...
