what do you guys think?

okay so i had a grasshoper in my chameleons cage and i went out nearly all evening and i came back around 8 and when i walked in to take out his food he was already munchin on it. i had forgot to take him out, but do you think i should leave his lights on longer so he can digest it cuz 9 is when i usually shut em off. and i was just curiouse, what would happen to a chameleon if he eats alot before lights go off? not that i feed my cham all the time before lights out but just curious.

no just keep the lights to there 12 on 12 off and the cham will be fine. i wouldn't worry about it mine has crickets in his cage all night when he doesn't eat them all and im sure hes eaten one or two that late before
