what do you guys think about rotating lights around so the plants get equal amounts of light? The only thing that I think could be bad about rotating the lights would be to confuse the chams.

It should be fine. You could do it every 3-4 days or so, and then it won't be as dramatic from one day to another.
You could also buy a long fluorescent tube with a 5000k or so daylight bulb and lay it across the whole cage. It'll keep the plants happier and you won't have to move anything. They make them in all the typical cage lengths and are available at any Home Depot/Lowe's. I use 4' double bulb tubes that go across 2 24" cages.

Your probably right I was going to be lazy but after seeing your cham room I'll take your advice any day of the week.
