Hi I was wondering what could I mix with my Wtf's? Before anyone stars going on about space I have 3 Wtf's in a 3 foot long by 1.5 foot tall by 45 inches deep. I was thinking something like a gecko but just say whatever you think would be good

I wouldn't mix anything with that many frogs in that type of space. Mixing species that wouldn't be in contact with each other (from different ecosystems) can expose each to bacteria, parasites, and even intestinal microbes the other species may be sensitive to. Many frogs produce skin irritants as defense mechanisms. The gecko could be eaten, compete with the frogs for food, clean water, and space. If one or the other is nocturnal or diurnal they could really disturb and annoy the other. Just not a good idea.

Unfortunately, mixing animals in an enclosure is usually a disaster. The only times I've been successful are eco-system enclosures that are designed to mimic the "total" environment. I did a few of these years ago where I'd have native fish, amphibians, plants, insects and such, with water and land from the actual spot I collected the animals from and found it to be amazing and time consuming :). I would have dragonfly nymphs, leopard frogs, bass, water striders and all sorts of things (many of which likely escaped into my house , but I would constantly replenish the insects that would inevitably become food. You need a large enclosure and almost perfect conditions. It's not easy to combine different types of animals if they don't share the same environmental requirements.
