I had not expected to be thinking of breeding any of my baby quads for about a year after I bought them, but one is just an eating/growing machine.
She is a wild-caught T. q. quadricornis and came to me a few days after import the first week of February. She weighed 12g for the first week I had her. Today she weighs 39g. I don't think she is too fat, but she certainly isn't thin. Picture attached.
When should I think of introducing her to a male? Is the decision based on weight or age? I have no idea how old she is, but she only weighed 12g less than two months ago, so she can't be very old. Any quesstimates on age?
Thanks.
