what age i right to sell baby chams

most don't let them go until at least 3-4mo old. I know all the ones I have bought as youngins didin't come to me until 3-3.5mo in age.

I've bought mine when he was 3 mo from a "professional" breeder. He didn't sell them until that age wich is to me, maybe young. It's my first cham, but I've read a lot before buying a baby. He generally sell them at 4 mo. The biggest issue I had was to find small cricket. Pin head was to small, and most of pet store around here have pin head and 1/2" crickets. Pin head was too small, they pass trough the screen cage and 1/2" are to big. Now Vlad is 4 1/2 mo and I can buy him 1/2" but I still chose the smaller crickets. So in my POV it would be 3-4 month depending of the person who buy it.

I don't sell mine until they have shed at least 2 times and can eat 1/2". That is about 3 months for veileds.

I guess for me it depends on the kind of chameleon. I was willing to sell veileds at three months, I wanted to keep my quad babies until 4 months. If I were selling something really small like a Tavetana I would most likely wait even longer.
