As a lot of you know I am into small chameleons, but nothing prepared me for my micro veiled. He is the only one out of the clutch to hatch so far. He came out this morning early. Here are his welcome pictures.

Can you believe he tride to crawl out on his own? This guy has spirt. Think we will call him Micro. Has any one else had one this small? The way these eggs looked I didn't expect them to hatch, who knows this may be the only one.

Aww! Laurie, he is sooo cute! I think he needs to come and live with me!:p:D Congrats on the Micro baby! Have you got feeders small enough for him?! Looking at pics of tiny babies, I have my doubts that Amy is as old as I thought she was! She is still very small for almost 5 months.

Wow pretty cool, but is it not premature?? it always throws me to see how some people incubate there eggs, fairplay if they all hatch but, your medium is sopping wet and the eggs look funky.
No disrespect intended, please dont take offence:)

Luke, no problem, you are correct that the medium looks wet, but I can't get a drop of water out of it. I thought the eggs looked awful all along, I didn't expect them to hatch. Everyone said to give them a chance so I did. Where you are incorrect is that this egg should have hatched around June 6th. I have no idea what is going on but I have never seen a veiled this small. I am still prepared to toss the whole bunch of eggs, but I will wait and see. My temp has been at 76F the entire time with no drops at night. I don't know what is wrong. The female died the day after laying these eggs. Any ideas on what is wrong, except the medium too wet?
