Weird tail curling

I have noticed my adult panther chameleon has an uneven tail curl while he is sleeping i was wondering if this shifted curl is something i should worrie about. He is about 3 years old.

I wouldn't worry unless he can no longer curl his tail or use it well. He's a middle-aged cham so possibly some changes in muscle tone going on. Not all chams curl their tails neatly every night. I had a verrucosus who hardly ever curled his tail. Most of the time he sort of draped it wherever it was convenient as if he'd forgotten all about it.
