weird noises?

My 7month old male veiled chameleon rocky has been making these wired breathing noises from his nose recently. ive just desocvered them today but i have had an ear infection which has made hearing a little hard for me these past few days. The sound is just like a puff of air that he blew out of his nose. The only other problem he has is he does not like to drink. The previous owner i rescued him from tortured him with the spray bottle and if it comes near his cage he will attack it. he doesn not like to use his dripper so ive been using an oral syringe to drip water onto him. he seems to not car and only takes in a few drops but could this water be getting into his nose and possibly causing these noises?

It's possible he could have an RI. Do you see any extra saliva in his mouth? Does he ever open his mouth or puff out his chin?

he is very cage agressive but as soon as i get him out he is such a sweetheart. that being said evey time i stick my hand in the cage his chin puffs and he hisses with his mouth open. im not sure if its extra saliva but there are usualy like 1-2 small strands that break almost immediatley after opening. I have rot gaurd which is supposed to up the immune system so should i give him some just incase? i dont see any harm in doing so. And also are there any ways to entice him to drink? ive never seen him drink or eat in my presence but i know he at least eats and he may drink some because his urate is never orange, sometimes slightly yellow.

As long as his urates are white, I think you can assume he's drinking. It's not unusual for them to refuse to drink when you're in the room, which is why a constantly running dripper is a good idea.
