weird coincidence-cars-RC-chams-

so recently alot of people in my area have been getting into chams and i find a few things weirdly coincidental.
i used to own a custom car shop, and then i was very involved in rc ( radio controlled stuff )
and now im all about chams.
well at least 4 of the last few people i have met with their chams i know form both of these hobbies.
all of them were once customers of mine and when i was talking to them they all have rc toys as well.
its just seems funny to me. and i know there are some car and rc people on here as well.
i do have to addmit that the other two hobbies have dropped of alot since i got into the chams.
so i guess im curious how many other fall into this zone LoL

Here is my theory on that. People who would want to purchase a chameleon are those who like extraordinary things. We like things that keep our brains stimulated. I, for one, have diagnosed ADHD, so I constantly need to be trying new things, and do a lot of hobby-jumping. RC racing is fun, fast, exciting, and there is risk involved (losing lots of money on your expensive car when you crash). So it makes perfect sense that one who would like RC cars would find chameleons fascinating as well.

still workin up the courage, or just the right time. ive been there i had a nice nitro helicopter i bought and spent months building and never really got the courage to fly it more than a few feet off the ground LoL

i know, now you need to meld both hobbies into one. RC chameleon races. by that i mean RC cars with chameleon drivers.

well... it was one them almost ready to fly ones, lol an it wasnt ive taxied it around but when the wing was off my kid ripped a hole in it so haveta fix the skin an just havent yet i plan on it just havent gotten toit..

I used to be WAY into RC… I had 9 sponsors at 1 point and would hit events around the country almost every week. Now I just don’t have the time

I fly a J20 that has a 4' wing span. It flies at 120mph and will hit high alpha like no other. RC Planes are the bomb. I have upgraded my jets with weaponry and a birds eye HD camera. This is a highly addictive hobby, but if you do it wrong you will blow massive amounts of money and lose interest.

Its been awhile since Ive messed with RC though.
I really really want a helicopter, but that is money I can spend on chams, so yeah

I've been buying a lot of r/stuff lately that are controlled by my iPhone
Started with the Parrot AR Drone- a wicked quadcopter with 2 built in hd cameras... It's freaking cool
Then I got the Silverlit r/c Ferrari ... Cool... But it's just another RC car- nothin special besides the fact that it's controlled by my iPhone
Then came Sphero... Awesome toy!!! It's a ball with multicolor led lights.... Rolls around whichever way you tilt your phone....sounds simple but it's so entertaining... My dog loves it too

I fly RC Slope gliders!! I also have a nitro buggy and powered planes too. I have an 8' span Beaver on floats with a 26cc gas engine Here are some of my Slope planes.... Thes arent all of them... I have over 20 slope planes. And about 15 powered 1's. I also used to be into nitro racing boats....I had a few that went over 90mph!

LOL...I can do that! The little one is based on a Losi MRC and is for the 1.9 class but it is dying due to lack of support by Losi. The 2.2 which is the main class is a Axial XR10 which if you want to start that is where you should do it!! I can give you a LOT more info if interested

i'm only into chams, but i've always seen chams as little RC cars the way the walk with their tail straight out or pointing up lol.
