Butterworms have high fat content i dont know if its advised but ik that will help put on some weight if his weight is worrisome.

How much are you feeding your cham? How often? Gutloading feeders?

Have you ever had a vet do a fecal exam to test for parasites?

no problems with parasites. he just goes off eating when shedding. he recently had a double shed .thats the problem. i feed him locusts gutloaded with a frozen mix i made.

If its when shedding thats totally normal. They will slow down or might go on a bit of a binge. But should be okay after hes done. I dont know anything about a double shed though?

yeah. super strange. as he shed the first layer another layer started coming off.

Wax worms are high in fat. You should see if hell eat those. I know that butterworms can sometimed cause a strange reaction in the skin of chams.
