We thought she was a boy

she layed some eggs yesturday, but she is still digging, will she lay more eggs? and should i be taking the eggs out right away?? or just leave them until she is finished laying them all?

Be sure you feed and water her as much as she wants with Calcium supplements. She will be fairly depleated after this ordeal. Good luck with her and glad she came through it ok. David

Usually the story is "I thought he was a girl!" and starts at a trashy bar.

With veileds it's pretty easy to identify gender, because of the tarsal spur, but you probably know that by now. I hope whoever sold her to you wasn't intentionally misleading... I guess random egg dropping is also a fairly decent indicator!
