Can anyone on tell me how to care and feed and house waxworms? I just bout some at petco and don't know one thing about them. And how do I gut load superworms? When I got both they were both in the little fridge at petco so I guess they. Stay in the fridge?

The waxworms just stayin the fridge. They might look dead when you take them out but let them warm up and they should start moving. The supers should be kept at room temp, not in the fridge. You gutload them just like crickets with fresh fruits and vegetables. I keep mine in a large container of oats(not the little cup they come in from the store) and then lay the cut up fruits and veggies right on top of the oats.

even thought i got them from in the fridge i keep them outside the fridge? its says on the top keep between 45 and something degrees but if not i hav a container for them

and the waxs are a treat right? no damage, no nothing?
thanks

ooohhh so i dont feed the waxys?
thanks

yes, I have never seen supers kept in the fridge from all the places I buy. Are you sure they are supers? Waxes more as treats. Fattening little suckers. So are supers though, but waxworms are worse.

Superworms will live for months, but not in the fridge. I love ordering 500 superworms because I don't need to order them again for months and months. You feed them the same good stuff you'd give your crickets, like Carol said, and they'll do really well. The waxworms you don't feed anything to, I believe. Or at least I've never done so, or read anything about what to feed them. But yes, they should be a rare treat - no more than once a week, and less would be better still. All they are is blob, but they work for a little diversity.

actually i wanted to put a few grams on my cham as he is getting skinny which reminds me  i need to give him his antibiotic injection today:( i feel so bad for him:(
