I am using over 1500 watts after I have calculated it out. Isn't that the equivalent to running a space-heater?

I don't know, I figure on average the bulbs I use are about 75 watts each and I use about 20. I use them about 12 hours a day. Our power bills are actually very cheap, and the bulbs keep my room warm so I don't need to turn a heater on or anything. I am just wondering if that is a lot. lol

I mean I have 14 cham cages so I guess it could be worse.

To flex power I use the 48 inch uvb bulbs and I try to use 57 watt bulbs but some are the mercury vapor so some are around 100.
