Hi all hope everyone is doing okay during this crazy time! I was just wondering i’ve heard of taking your cham into the shower to rehydrate them and stuff like that but for my drip system and mistings i always use reptisafe in my water. Is drinking from the shower harmful to them or is it totally fine ?
Usually the shower method is used as a last resort for a dehydrated chameleon. At that point, you’re just hoping they’ll drink anything. It’s not apart of most keeper’s daily routine with their chameleons. As long as your chameleon is staying hydrated via misting and drippers, you shouldn’t have to worry about it.
