The problem will be drainage and where will all the water go? How big is the terrarium? Drippers are nice and provide continual availability for drinking, but the drawback is all the water that will concentrate in one area. If you use something to catch the water, make sure it is shallow or if it is going to be somewhat deep that it is covered with screen. If you know that your chameleon is drinking from the mister, and the water is going to be a problem, then I would not use the dripper.
I have a misting system and I still use drippers - I have drainage so that the water goes into a catch buckets under the cages - With my Jackson I find it still needed - the other two not so much- I see the Panther drinking right away when the mister goes on - the Jackson would wait and go over by where the dripper was and wait after the spraying stopped (she's spoiled) -
