Nope they drink rain water, so basically distilled, not mineral water from the ground. So you dont have to add vitamins or anything.

There is a lot of controversy over the quality of our tap water. I recommend the use of a R/O system. You can buy inexpensive 6 stage systems for under $150. The average water coming out of the tap is .300 parts per million, the ppm of R/O water is 0.001.
