I have a dog that barks loud from time to time is this going to be a problem with the health and well being of a Cham?

I am told they do not hear, and I can't find ears on mine!
But they feel vibrations and if your dog runs around in the house alot it may cause stress.
You could keep it in a quiet room?

Chams have very small holes for ears, practically naked to the human eye. They can't hear well, they listen to vibrations and tones and rely on sight to hunt. The dog wont be a problem unless it is at the cage frightening the Cham, barking or not.

I have a surround sound system that sounds like an IMAX movie theater in the room where my Cham is housed and play my movies loud. No problem.

Correct me if I am wrong more experienced owners, but I believe this is what I have been told cause I was worried about the sound problem as well as a new owner

I'd be "worried" about the bass in that surround sound when its loud. As long as your chams dont show signs of decadence while the TV is on loud, I wouldnt give it much thought.

The barking isn't a problem, as long as the dog doesn't poke around the cham's enclosure. The chameleon will get used to the dog walking around as long as the dog doesn't bug it.

the bass only comes from the subwoofer, the surrounds arent quite as loud as the rest of the speakers. enclosure is located on the oppposite side of the room and havent noticed a bit of stress or fright from him during the movie. He sleeps right through it
