Hey,
I'm soon to be building some larger cages to set up as naturalistic vivariums for some of my chameleons and geckos. The terrariums I am building will be 2'x2'x3' and are all wood, glass front, venting (with fans located both on the bottom vent and top vent) with a screen top, and misting system. The vivariums are going to be extremely heavily planted in the long run. I have two of the large ones that will be dedicated to chams.
Currently I am holding on of these two enclosures open until I find one of my dream (harder to find species). It would either be a group of Rh. spinosum, K, tenuis, or K. boehmei. However for the other one I'm trying to decide whether I am going to attempt a co-hab with my hoehneli, or my montium.
So my question(s) is(are) whether you think these cages are suitable size for either one of these species to be kept in pairs, and if so, which would be more likely to succeed in a cohab situation?
Thank you in advance,
Justin Morash
Just some pics of the naturalistic vivarium I started last night for some of my pygmies. Needs more plants and some moss...
