Vet Visit while Shedding?

I know this is a stupid question, but I want to ask it.... Is it ok to take Reggie to the vet while he is in the middle of shedding. he needs to go in for a check up from his original vist three weeks ago for his eye irritation (caused by a shed lol) and he started shedding again yesterday or maybe even the day before yesterday. i want to take him in so they could make sure his eye is ok, but not really sure if it makes sense with all the skin every where, including around the eyes. Thoughts?

shouldn't be a problem. But if you are concerned, you can call the vet and see if it would still be ok to bring him in.
