At what age do male veiled chameleons stop growing and eating as much. My male is a little under 8 months old and he has stopped eating as much. He is healthy but I was just wondering whats up. He prob is going on a hunger strike as he is munching on greens instead.

Thanks

You should probably start feeding every other day now. Greens and fruits/veggies are great if he'll eat them :) No worries
No point in making a big issue unless you see real signs of potential problems.

It is thought that veileds eat the fruit and veg for hydration. For instance, in the wild if it hasn't rained or they can't find water, they will munch on vegetation for the water. Make sure you have a drip that runs all day. ;) I would say they never stop "growing", since they shed their skin. Yes, they do slow down on the eating as they grow older. A hunger strike could mean they are bored with their food or something in their environment may not be right. Just as a precaution, re-check your husbandry and make sure temps are still good. Don't forget to change out your UVB every six months. :)
