Veiled Monty Update

Recently Monty has been going through phases where every couple of days, his tongue isn't sticky, or his aim is slightly off.

This might be a side effect of the MBD or there is something else going on. But it is on and off.

I am saving money (I am quickly on my way to around 400$) and am 1/4 through to my goal for a vet visit (I am saving so much just in case he needs something drastic).

So wish me luck, as much as he is grumpy, he is still my baby so I want to keep him as healthy as possible. The MBD was not really a concern since I was giving him calcium and d3 regularly, updating his tube, giving him varied feeders, taking him outside for sunlight, giving him plenty of water, etc, and his arms actually DID improve slightly (I understand MBD is mostly permanent damage but can be "Fixed" or stopped from progressing).

But the eyes and tongue thing indicates something else maybe.

Thanks for the Monty update. The most important thing when you take him to the vets it to be sure to go to one that has chameleon experience.

I have heard the name Dr Green on here multiple times (I think that's what it is) and I'm pretty sure he's in CA, so if I get the chance I'd go to him.

I hope everything works out with him the vet can be so expensive it sucks my girl had to go last week for a eye infection and it cost me a pretty penny just for some ointment-__-

yeah that's why hopefully I can get someone knowledgeable who won't make me spend millions on something.

I am trying really hard not to spend even the slightest bit of cash right now, I have it away from sight to prevent me from buying ANOTHER plant

hopefully I can ask an anatomy teacher at our school (she used to be a vet tech) who is a good reptile vet closer than yorba linda. if there are no really good ones, I will go to Greek. I want to get the best one.
