Veiled-male or female?

I was convinced it was a male but now I’m having second thought. I think I see the spurs but the casque is small.

what stripes? When he\she fires up i can see the vertical yellow lines.
but after a second look im not so sure 😅, i do see spurs and what looks to be a bugle on the end of his/her tail but the coloration is throwing me off. i’m sure someone more experienced will be of more help soon😁

100% boy. 🥰 Only males have the vertical bars like that. Males also have a tarsal spur (pronounced nub on their back heels) and that thick tail base where the hemipenes are.
His casque still has some growing to do. I think that’s why you’re questioning his gender. Make sure your husbandry is correct (I’m sure we’ve gone over it already), feed him well and as soon as it’s warm enough, take him outside for a short time for some natural sun. Do not leave him or let him out of your sight for even a few seconds! They are quick and predators are even quicker. I sit and hold my chams or put them on a small plant on the patio table directly in front of me.
