My cham finally laid her clutch =) and seeing as I've never done this before I was just wondering if she is suppoised to be super dark after having them? Shes not black, just really dark, kinda like a dark moss green with brown.

ya thats normal shes just really tired right now just up her mistings and feed her well with some well gut loaded and lots of calcium

yes thats normal she will need a good long shower light isting put for a long time in the shower clean her all up let her drink get her nice and hydrated and give her a nice big nutricious meal couple treats you know reward her for doing the deed problem free. congrats how many eggs?

Sounds normal to me. They get cold down in the hole and it takes a while for them to warm up again afterwards. I think they look so sorry for themselves and all skinny and wrinkled after they have laid. Poor girlies! 46 eggs is ok number wise though. My first female laid two clutches of infertiles of over 100 eggs both times, and I now realise it was due to keeping her too hot and feeding her too much food!

Yea, I plan to. We bought her and her bf from some dumbass who had them in the same cage together. She was already pregnant. We've only had them about 2 weeks...

Btw, I was wondering what plants to put in the cages, like trees and such... what kinds are best. The woman who had them before had Philodendrons in them, but if they are poisonous to my cats I don't want them in the chameleon cages so I took them out.
