Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male veiled, about 4.5 months, in my care for 1.5 months
Handling - once a week to clean the cage
Feeding - about 15 crickets daily gutloaded with Fluker's and fresh organic squash and kale (this is what it has been the past few days - I change up the gutload everytime I go to the store)
Supplements - RepCal w/o D3 daily, RepCal w/ D3 every 1st and 15th, multivitamin every 5th (alternating between Reptivite and Sticky Tongue Miner-all Outdoor)
Watering - I hand mist 2-3x daily
Fecal Description - dark with white urates, never tested for parasites
History - He is an Orange Crush baby from Tiki Tiki Reptiles

Cage Info:
Cage Type - 16x16x30 screen
Lighting - Reptisun 5.0 and 34 Watt basking light
Temperature - basking 84, cage floor gets down to abut 75
Humidity - 60-90 (I try to keep it below 85 as much as possible)
Plants - live pothos and ficus
Placement - inside my large walk-in closet, no vents or high traffic
Location - Kennesaw, GA

Current Problem - Neko shows dark colors quite often and I'm not sure why. He is also really small and hasn't started developing any adult barring yet. (Should he be developing bars at 4.5 months?) His lights haven't come on yet today so I don't want to measure him or take any pictures yet, but I think he is roughly 3.5-4 inches snout to vent. This concerns me because my other veiled cham is about the same age as him, but she is easily twice his size. Although I originally believed them to be pretty much exactly the same age, I now think that she might be a couple weeks or as much as a month older, but even so, she was significantly bigger a month ago than he is now. I have a feeling he is runt, which would explain the slow growth. I am really at a loss about his almost constantly stressed coloration while he is awake though. He seems healthy and strong other than his size and stress colors. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the high humidity in the closet is affecting him. I am going to try moving him into a bigger cage in another location soon, but I wanted to go ahead and post this thread anyway and see if anybody else has any ideas.

Post some pictures of him so we can see what he looks like. Then we will able to give you some suggestions.
