Veiled Boy!!!!

Ok i have a veiled boy he is 4 months old... he was very calm, when i got him a month ago. Today i went to get him out and he gaped and hissed at me. Maybe reaching sexual maturity? Too early?

Sounds pretty normal to me.
At this age, I would be very pleased with this behavior

Thats just the way most chameleons are and he could calm back down if you can earn his trust by hand feeding and trying to lure him out with food. Just dont force him to do anything or hell be very stressed

yeah. totaly normal. but dont stress him out. i got lucky with my male vield, hes never hissed at me and hes 11 months old.
