UVB Strip lighting

Hey guys quick question im getting a new flexarium 100 the 1 i got at moment is a 38 and wondering wot uvb tube to get 5.0 or 10.0 also what length for the flex 100.

any suggestions?

Flexariums

We used to use flexariums before we set up with aluminum screened cages. The 5.0 will work, but the mesh on those flexariums will filter out a lot of light. You may want to consider the 10.0 on those enclosures. Just make sure you have plenty of foliage so that the chameleon can escape the UVB if needed. The 10.0 bulb should be effective up to at least 2 feet if not a few inches more in those enclosures. The 24", 10.0 bulb will work well on that 100 gallon flex.

I agree completely-go with the 24" 10.0!

5.0 isn't the wattage of the lamp its the UVB % if im not mistaken. A 15" tube is something like 13w or something.

Cheers guys i was thinking the 10.0 on top due to the mesh filtering some out but didnt know wether to go with a 30" as its 30" wide (with a reflector)?
