So I have a lot of babbies.....I keep them in plastic bins. I put a screen over the top then a reptisun 5.0 The last bin i set up i was looking for a screen, found one from one of my windows that is not on the house due to a A/C in the window. I noticed the bin was not as bright with this screen than with a old screen from a dismantled cage. My guess is its some sort of solar screen. due to its bronze color. Heres the question.Has anybody with a uvb meter tested the output under these screens? Im not going to use any house screens untill i know.
The reason i put screens over the bins is I have a kitty that loves to sneek in my cham room and watch the chameleons and hunt crickets. I think she likes crickets more than the chams.
