UVB lighting

I just got my linear T8 5.0 UVB linear bulb in the mail for my Chamaeleon. I’ve been using just a regular bulb until I was told that linear is better. Is it supposed to be this dark though? My bulb shines almost like a daylight type bulb but this linear is very dark is that normal?

They take up to 30min to warmup. Especially fresh out of the box. After regular use they should get to full brightness within 30 seconds.

But it kinda looks like its not locked in, did you rotate it so the metal fingers are a quarter turn locked in after you inserted the bulb?
