Hello to all forum memebers,
I am getting my first chameleon this Thursday! He is coming two weeks before I expected however I feel everyting will be ready for his arrivial. Since the end of spring semester I have spent my free time perfecting his enclosure and now all I have left is the lighting and live plants. I built an enclosue measuring 4'x25"x27" using wood and pet screening. The screening I chose is very durable yet it blocks a fair amount of light. I plan on using a 24" UVB bulb however I'm not sure if one tube will be enough.
When lighting my little man's enclosure will a one tube unit be sufficient, or should I go for the two tube unit?
Can a panther chameleon have too much artificial UVB light?
Thank you to everyone on this forum! You all have given me the information and confidence to pursue an interest which I have had since I was very young.
