UV Light Meter Recommendation?

Can someone recommend a good, reasonably priced UV light meter? Also what range should a bulb be putting out to be effective for montanes?

I was always recommended the solarometer 6.5 and that's what I use. Not sure about others though, that seems to be the best you can get these days.

Yeah it's steep upfront but in the long-term will pay for itself and more

It is expensive but don't buy anything else. This and the 6.2 are the only meters that are known to work and everything else on the market isn't up to pair with their quality. So don't waste money on a different meter as the values it gives won't be correct. Solarmeter or nothing in my opinion.

I am curious as to why the 6.5 is recommended over the 6.2, as the 6.2 is specifically listed by Solarmeter for "Reptile Lamps."
