USPS priority or fed ex 2 day

Making an order from mulberry farms tonight for silkworms, horns and butter worms, curious for those that have bought and used USPS priority how long it took. It is about $12.00 cheaper than fed ex ground and would prefer to order that way but I want to make sure I don't risk it if USPS takes too long.

Thanks for any input

It depends on your weather. If it's cold then the extra shipping time might kill a bunch of them, making the more expensive rate a better idea.

Our weather is going to be much warmer this week, 50's and 60's and lowest is going to be high 40's I think . Not sure where they are coming from though, I might need to check that

Your going coast to coast, id do usps, that and you are not going into the arctic zones. Now if this was a greatlakeshornworms order going to Washington during a normal January, that would be 2 day with a heat pak.

I highly advise to have it shipped to your work if possible. Also admin loves when i place a dirt sundays on their desk, then the gummy worms start moving...

Yikes they are coming from California so USPS priority may take a little longer since I am on the east coast. I think I will add the extra shipping to be safe.

Curious though what USPS priority time frame is....guess I need it check that too :).
I work from home 90% of the time so home address should work

Thanks for the input, I figured with the weather being warmer next week and USPS says 2-3 days I went ahead with it. Keeping my fingers crossed! The lowest is actually on Wed and Thirsday of a low in the mid 30's but highs in the mid 50's. I did not opt for heat packs either.....I forgot :(. Hopefully though with the weather and the worms they should be ok
