Thank you so much everyone. Zachary was dragging himself along today, movement is a good sign I guess. I live in New York and tomorrow is supposed to be 92 and sunny. I will be sure to expose him. I will try and talk my parents into seeing a vet but for now I will stick with the powdered calcium.

You can get liquid calcium sandoz or gluconate at a pharmacy. Liquids are supposed to before readily absorbed.

Thats not what he is saying man, Plz dont missinform people if you dont know basic calcium(or extreme calcium problems) don't post. He isnt saying don't give uvb, he is saying when a cham has mbd which can be caused by over supplementation or not enough, you need either alot more or less.

I never said kinyonga said: "don't give uvb" ??

I was just informing Allie to make sure that her cham was getting UVB rays or the supplements will just get pooped out....

my lil veiled girl has mbd. we caught it back in June. she is still recovering after 3 vet visits. its a long process and a vets assistance is wise. on the first visit she got two injections and food to feed with a syringe. we also gve her liquid calcium daily from the vet. this is a slow process and is very heartbreaking. you have to be patient and take care of them in anyway possible. after three months she is just now beginning to use her tongue again.
