Update on Pascal

Hi guys, I have had Pascal now for 2 months. He seems to be doing well and settling in just great. He eats crickets, superworms, wax worms(very rarely), and occasionally dubias. He absolutely won't touch orange roaches. I have tried everything. He also recently stopped eating his dubias too. I would love to get him to eat these again. I fasted him for 4 days and he still wouldn't eat them. I also tried a horn worm and he was absolutely terrified of it. He wouldn't go anywhere near it. As a matter of fact he acted upset until I took it out. I bought a very small one today and will try tomorrow to see if he will take it. The last one was fairly large. I am a huge believer in feeding a variety. When I got him all he was fed was crickets. Any suggestions on how to get him to eat them again? I also should be having some silk worms soon. Let me know what you all think how he looks. I appreciate it.

He has some awesome color on him,as far as dubia ,try give him smaller size one in between his other feeders while he is chewing with them and the only thing that Im concern his eye is a bit of sunken(unless is the angle of the pic taken)....how is his drinking, is he hydrate everyday?is the urate poop shows the white color n normal?
Other than that he is a very good looking cham.

I see that too. Looks like the first two pics. My guy Sherbert doesn't like the dubias either. He ate them a little when he was younger but just eats crickets and superworms. He loves the supers. I have a cup for him and will throw some dubias in there with some super worms, once in a while he will get a roach by mistake but that is the only way he will eat a dubia. I just make sure the crickets and supers have good gut load.

Nice looking chameleon though.

Yes even on the last pic it shows a bit ,I would just hydrate him more every day to get the eye more fuller n watch him closely thats all.

Thanks guys for your responses. I really appreciate it. I think he is very handsome. I was worried he was a bit dehydrated. The mistaking goes off at 10am, noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm. The first three mistings are set for 1 minute. The 4 and 6 are 30 seconds, and the last is a minute. I was thinking of doing it a little longer. His urates was a little orange at first when I got him, but seem better now. He does drink. His previous owner only had the mistaking going off 3 times a day. I will bump up the time for longer and see if that helps. As for the dubia, I have offered all sizes and with other feeders. As I said at first when I got him he was eating the great. Then I tried the orange roaches and he wouldn't go near them. Ever since then he won't touch the dubia either. I will keep trying to put a couple in with his other feeders and see what he'll do. Thanks again :)

I would mist for 3 minutes at a time at least I know my chameleons don't start dinking until after the first min or 2. Mine goes off 4 times a day lights on a 9 10 am 3 mins 1 pm 4 mins 5 pm 3 mins and 7 for 2 mins and lights out at 10 gives time to dry out I also changes times of lights and misting every so often depending on the sun
