Sooo like.. I feel like I set it up okay, but I’m not sure about the new plant situation. They’re very small now and I think I’m gonna let them grow some more before I place em in. Oh, and his light came and he now has a basking area and a regular one! He’s so green nowadays Then I’ll make it look professional haha. Should I put some more branches in there?

There shouldn't be a problem with putting the live plants in and letting them grow in place.
In fact, if you have good grow lights, they'll probably grow faster there than almost anyplace except outdoors.

Several of the most popular plants are relatively fast-growing and vines/vine-like—pothos, philodendron, grape ivy, Tradescantia zebrina, Madagascar jasmine... (others)—even spider plant.

It's up to you; I figure if they grow together, there may be less of a shock... "Hey, where'd that TREE come from ‽"
