update on linus :)

soo, linus has been settling in very nicely this second week. i come home everyday from school and he is wandering around his cage with a mission, he is really starting to like his top perch which pleases me he did stop using his cup for feeders, but i dont understand why, maybe he thought it was boring, but he had a 3 day hunger strike until i finally let the crix loose, and then he searched and destroyed i also found out he hates misting any other time cept in the morning. this morning he was up before i was seeing how i have no school and was chillin on his top perch, well i started to mist with the hot water just his plant, but he shut his eyes like he was expecting to get misted? so i did and he didnt flinch, try and bite it, nothing, just sat there and enjoyed it, so i was happy but he was suddenly diverted by a cricket crawling on the screen beside him XD i havent really started handling him yet, but he is eating the crix out of my hand (the ones that will stay there) so he cant be too scared of me he is not very interested in the worms tho :/

im glad he's eating again too and i agree, he is very handsome, id love to make him a father one day, he would throw some handsome babies, maybe this summer ill get a girlfriend for him

Great job with him he looks like a really health and handsome little guy. It would seem chams are just like that (with the feeding) I have a cham that really only likes to eat when outside, and if it's been a few days since he has gotten out he will not want to eat. You try explaining to a lizard without ears that it's too cold outside for him They sure have lots of personality

this is his pretty side, his other turret is still blackish/grayish colored...think its a bruise, how long will he have it?? :/ id really like to get pics of his other side..but they look funny with his "black eye"

If it is just a bruise, then it should go away in a few weeks.

a little warmer than luke warm, he enjoys the mist warm, but if i use luke warm, the mist comes out cold -.-

haha, he is actually really small, once i start handling him he wont look so big next to my hands
