Update on Handfeeding

I have been feeding my 1 yr old female veiled roaches from a plate to get her warmed up to the habit of handfeeding. She has been doing well. i have been giving her treats of a few roaches every , and then every other day I add it to her actual feeding. She is used to eating from a cup, so I thought we could try a new feeding method. I have been very adamant about keeping to our new schedule, so hopefully the 'training' pays off. Is it a good sign that she is taking the roaches a little easier?

It sounds like a nice treat to get her use to you just be careful not to overfeed. Female veileds love to ear and it’s really hard not to feed them to much.

I just recently looked into that since she always seemed to be hungry. I am going to ease off when she gets a bit more used to it. Right now the schedule stays in the lines of about 8 small dubia roaches every other day, and I usually split it up with half in the cup and half hand feeding. Other days when she seems a bit hungrier I will give her one or two of the smallest ones I have just so she can practice and doesn't get too full. Is there anything I can improve with this schedule?
