Umbrella tree question

Hey guys I was just at home Depot and I was looking for an umbrella tree for my panther chameleon. The lady that works there told me that this is a schefflera money plant and I just wanted to know if it is and is it safe because I don't want to buy a plant that isn't safe for him and that's why I'm asking.

Does anybody know if that is a schefflera or if it is safe for my panther?

schefflera is fine. I use it.

Schefflera arboricola is fine, I correct myself. Schefflera actinophylla is too toxic. make sure you get the correct one.

Only problem is that it's not even labeled. I had to ask her if it was a schefflera umbrella tree and she just said yes so I was a little unsure that's why I thought I'd post it up on the forum to see if anybody would know if that tree is ok

That looks like the larger leaf version which is not on the safe plant list.

Ficus and pothos are also safe and popular

Yea I found a ficus tree but its a bit too tall for my enclosure and if i were to chop some off of the top I would be left with barely any branches and leaves.. I do plan on getting a pothos plant though but im just trying to find a little tree that I can put in there first
