Types of sticks to avoid from the wild?

I like the idea of using real sticks taken from outside that was suggested to me by a forum member. Are there any particular types of trees from which I should avoid using the sticks in my cham cage?

Not really, as chams don't chew on the wood. I always use branches from outdoors as the uneven surfaces and diameters exercise feet and keep nails trimmed naturally. Wash off any decaying moldy bark, dirt, bird droppings, and fresh oozing sap. Dry the branches well before using them.
