Types of Food

Hello, tomorrow we will be bringing home my new Veiled Chameleon for the first time (it's three months old). I'm very excited but have some questions for the future. I am allergic to roaches and they are out of the picture when it comes to food. I have crickets, superworms, mealworms, and silkworms ready for the chameleon. I know Waxworms and hornworms are okay too. As for the future though I would like to add more variety. Some of the foods I looked at were

A. Fruit Flies
B. Locust/Grasshoppers (I think these are okay just don't know where to get them)
C. Praying Mantis

Are these okay, how should I go about gut loading or do I even need to. Also are there any other? Lastly could someone give me a list of acceptable vegetables to gutload with?

Welcome to the forums. I can see yo are already in love. :D
All the foods you mentioned are ok except wax worms and mealworms. They are ok as a treat every now and then but I don't use them. House flies, blue bottle files, Phoenix worms and butter worms are good feeders too.

I use greens to gut load with such as endive, kale, dandelion, mustard and turnip. Butternut squash, bell pepper and sweet potato is good also. I also use a good dry gut load made by a forums member.
