Screen is the best for a custom built cage im going 2 build. Like the normal screen mesh, or the one green one i've seen on others.Its has bigger holes. Hes about 5 1/2 months old veild, which one is the best one 4 him thnkx...those ppls who have custom cage wat did uguys use thnk again.

If you don't cup feed, the green honeycomb screen will allow crickets and other feeders to escape.

they make several types depending on what you want.

you have hexigonal 1" vinyl mesh/chicken wire.

1/2" galvanized chicken wire with vinyl coating.

and then alluminum window screen mesh *get alluminum avoid fiberglass*.

if they are really small babies id suggest alluminum window mesh

The aluminum mesh withstands the crickets biting holes. But it will cut your chams toenails off easy. The fiber glass is not good once the coating rubs off. The garden mesh has too big of holes that will let crickets escape. There is a pet window screen mesh that they sell in Home depot. That is definetely the safer choice but it looks ugly......Take your pick.
