in my own experience one twin often dies trying to get out of the egg. It seems to be that one is facing the wrong way often when the egg pips and I expect it can’t breathe. Intervention is needed IMHO.

I am alert that twins from eggs normally do not make it.

However I had my digits crossed this was an exception to that norm. I think twins surviving once and a while would be great news to hear.
