Trip to Schools Herpitarium

I didn't have any classes today so I decide to take a stroll down to the BGSU Herpitarium. I am a senior here and had, until today, never visited it. They have hundreds of beautiful lizzards, turtles, snakes, etc. and the woman who is head of the program showed me around, let me hold some of the species etc. It turns out they had veiled eggs hatch in January which were for sale and had six (3 males, 3 females) left. They were trying to get rid of them since they don't have the space, so I picked up a male and named him Freddy (Our universities mascot is Freddy Falcon). For only being 7 months old, he has great color. She also gave me the name of a great vet in the area where I can take my rescued graceful to treat the mouth rot, toenail problems and get a fecal done.


If you are ever in the Bowling Green, Ohio area you should check out the herpitarium in the science building
