Too much feeding

Hey guys so I am trying to get my chameleon out of my cage but everytime I try to put my hand near him he sticks tongue out thinking I have food , I gave him 6 crickets in the morning and my mom gave him another 4 in the afternoon like 2 and gave him another 3 around 5 so 13 in total but still hungry should I give him more ?
He 4-5 months old
I dust my crickets with the supplement without d3 everyday and gutlaod them with veggies and fruits

I feed my cham's as much as they'll eat. I've only had good results doing it.

(Correct me if I am wrong ) but if you feed them does it make them grow faster. ?
And cant that cause mbd?

I feed mine as much as they will eat in about 5 minutes. I have never heard of feeding too much causing MBD. That would be caused by lack of proper calcium and UVB lighting. For young chams I feed twice a day as much as they will eat in about 5 or so minutes.they can eat a lot when they are growing.

I agree. MBD is not the result of over feeding, but a lack of UVB, calcium, and vitimans.

when they're growing the can eat A LOT! My panther would eat between 15-18 medium crickets a day when he was 4-6 months. He's growing quick and very healthy and happy!

I will Increase the feeding then , I just would like to take him out yet he's still pretty shy , and gets scared he's been in my care for about 3 weeks and still won't come out :/

My guy today, swear ate something around 25 fruit flies and 5/6 crickets (1/4") and he's 3 months today
