Too big for a baby veiled?

So I just got a new veiled chameleon for Christmas, (sort of an odd gift, I know, but not my first cham) and I was wondering if I should use the cage I already have or put her into a smaller enclosure until she grows a bit. The cage I have now is a screen mesh enclosure that measures 18" wide x 18" deep x 36" tall. She's obviously very young, maybe a few months old at most, and I'm not sure if this cage is too big for a chameleon so young. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If temps & humidity are correct & she can find food ok, then i can't see why not.
They grow so quickly i personally wouldn't buy another enclosure just for a few months... not worth it imo.
What i would most like likely do, if once she was in there, you did find it too big. Is to put some kind of temporary false floor in. Depends how handy you are & if you have any suitable materials lying around. Obviously if you have to spend cash buying some, then a cheap second hand enclosure might be a better option. Personally i'd give it a go in the enclosure you already have & see how she get's on.

I have often raised babies from hatching in cages that size.

She's probably not even a few months- veileds are pretty large at a few months.

For hatchlings I lay cages that size on their side, so they are longer than high. This keeps everything close to the babies- lights, heat and wandering food items.

Thanks for the help guys. So far she's eaten all the food I've given her, so I'm going to leave it as is unless I notice any problems in the future. Thanks again.

I put my 3.5 month old panther in the XL Repti-breeze cage. He was a bit spooked at first, but slowly adapted. Now he climbs all over the cage. I cup fed to ensure he was eating and have slowly started to introduce a couple of feeders for him to free range. All is going well and he seems fine in his large cage.
